Calf Cuddles
Step beyond the gate and into the Cow Shed for a very special, hands-on calf experience, exclusive to Goat Shed.
Brand-new for 2026, our Calf Cuddles sessions are all about getting up close and personal with this year’s calves as we prepare for show season. In these small-group sessions, you’ll meet the calves, learn all about them and help us get them looking their best — brushes at the ready.

We’ll introduce you to each calf, sharing:
- Their names and personalities
- When they were born
- Who their mum is
- Their daily routines in the shed
- What it takes to prepare them for show season
You’ll have the chance to spend time with the calves, gently brush them, and really get to know the Simmental herd that calls Goat Shed home. It’s a calm, educational and memorable experience — perfect for animal lovers looking for something a little bit special.
Each session lasts 20 minutes and is limited to 12 people, keeping things relaxed, intimate and enjoyable for both our visitors and the calves.

What To Expect:
Each Calf Cuddles session will feature six calves, with two people allocated to each calf to keep the experience calm, safe and enjoyable for both our visitors and the animals.
- If you’re booking on your own or as an odd-numbered group, you may be paired with another guest outside of your party
This structure allows everyone plenty of time up close with the calves, while helping us keep sessions relaxed and well managed.
