GOAT YOGA
New for 2025, an experience like no other… Goat Yoga!
Em from Embrace Yoga will guide you through a 40 minute yoga session in the goat pen alongside our cheeky Boer goats. These sessions are perfect for beginners and groups who are looking to get outside and experience something different in the heart of the Norfolk countryside.
Your session will run for an hour, with 10 minutes at the start to welcome the herd, followed by a 40 minute yoga session, before finishing off with 10 minutes to say goodbye to your new four legged friends.
What you’ll need:
You will need to bring along your own exercise mat, blanket or towel. We recommend you use something old or something that you don’t mind getting dirty as you will be out on the grass in the goat pen with the rest of the herd.
Please make sure you are suitably clothed for this session. You will be outside in the goat pen, so make sure you’re wrapped up warm or covered in sun cream, we all know how unpredictable the British weather can be, so please check the forecast before attending. Remember that this is a beginners session for yoga, so make sure you’re wearing something comfortable and preferably stretchy – no one wants to do yoga in jeans!
Things to note:
Our Goat Yoga sessions will be held out in the goat pen, and as this is where the herd lives, you and your belongings may come into contact with animal droppings. Please be aware of your surroundings, and use the antibacterial spray and blue roll available to clean down your belongings at the end of the session.
You MUST wash your hands thoroughly both BEFORE and AFTER the session, with soap and warm water in the hand-washing facilities provided. Please avoid touching your face during the sessions.
Our Goat Yoga sessions will be held outside and are dependent on the weather. Unfortunately, if weather conditions are bad, we will not be able to go ahead with the session, and will get in contact to arrange a re-fund.
Our Boer goats are cheeky and have a mind of their own. During the session, they may climb on and nibble you, please tie up long hair and make sure all loose jewellery is removed before the session.
While you will be in the goat pen, we cannot guarantee that our goats will be near you throughout the whole session. They like to do whatever they want, but fingers crossed they’ll be in the mood for a little play during your session.
Goat Yoga may be held at the same time as other events, and due to the sessions being out in the Goat Paddock, the general public and other Goat Shed customers will be able to see from afar.

We’re thrilled to be hosting our first ever Little Lifts Packing Party, right here at Goat Shed! We’ve teamed up with the amazing team at Little Lifts, a Norfolk-based charity supporting people undergoing breast cancer treatment — and we’d love you to join us.
Date & Time
Thursday 10th July 6:00pm-8:00pm
Session
FREE
During the evening, we’ll be helping to pack Little Lifts Boxes, filled with thoughtful items designed to offer comfort and support to people undergoing surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It’s a simple but powerful way to show care — and a chance to come together as a community to make a real difference.
Everyone’s welcome, whether you’re a local, a regular, a friend of a friend, or someone just looking to do some good. Just bring yourself, your hands for packing, and your big heart.
We’ll be joined on the night by Shopie and Lizzie from the Little Lifts team, who’ll kick things off with a short intro about the charity — who they are, why they do what they do, and how our partnership here at Goat Shed is helping them reach even more people. They’ll also walk us through the Box packing process with a quick demo, before handing things over to us to get stuck in.
This event also marks the start of our Goat Shed fundraising challenge to raise (and hopefully smash!) £2,500 for Little Lifts. With plans to pack up to 200 boxes, we’ll be keeping energy levels topped up with freshly brewed coffee and delicious homemade bakes, available to purchase throughout the evening.
